I founded Pampered Pets by Sherrie in February of 2005. After a long career in the corporate world, I came to the realization that each year of my job had become less satisfying than the one before. My talents for animal care — already a lifelong love — yanked awake that light bulb over my head and said “Hey Sherrie, this is what you should be doing professionally!” Shortly after that, what had simply begun as a neighborly service to my close friends and family quickly (and naturally) became my full-time day hobby... I mean, job!

I believe we have domesticated these critters and it is our duty to give them love and respect while making them as happy and content as they deserve. While you’re gone, we’ll take care of your loved one just as if he/she were our own. With my certification and training, and the training I provide my staff you’ll leave with peace of mind knowing your pets are in loving, professional hands.
Idgie Mae — “The Velcro Dog”
Idgie’s a happy 13-year-old Shih-Tzu, and the unchallenged queen of my animal kingdom. I brought her home on Christmas Eve of 1992, and she’s been the best Christmas gift since. Like an old soul to a new stranger, Idgie can express trust and friendship with just a simple raised paw and steady gaze. Idgie was the inspiration for my business and in many ways its co-founder.
